Yeah, I could probably get a fish or a lizard, just not anything that sheds or doesn't live in a tank.

He probably just has to get used to it. Cats are finicky like that.

It's strange though. When I was looking through my pictures just now I started remembering a black cat. I think its name was Nai? It seems like one of those strange memories people have been getting.

I'll definitely keep you posted. I kind of have my hands full taking care of Mafuyu and Yukine right now.

[ Neither of those are his kids, but they sure spend tons of time at his place, demanding food... ]

Oh, that's cool. I've gotten a lot of those too. Was Nai your pet cat, before?

I don't know? I was just looking at the pictures then I remembered a scraggly little kitten....it was really cute. I guess it would make sense if Nai was my pet...

Oh, yeah. They're just some kids from the neighborhood, they stop by my place a lot and ask me for free food and that kind of thing. I've managed to tutor Mafuyu a little but she's got so much energy...

[ It's kind of like having a pet, really. ]

Maybe you'll remember more, later. I don't think I had any pets either, before.

they sound really cute. They're lucky to have you to take care of them! I hope I get to meet them.

I hope I can remember more. I want to understand these memories I've gotten.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've gotten a lot, but I still don't feel like I understand very much.

I think it's scarier not knowing. If we understand more maybe it won't be so bad!

I'm hoping for that, too. The more I remember, the sooner I'll be able to make sense of these things and have an idea for what I used to be like.

Right, even if we remember something good or bad, we don't know how that plays out in the bigger picture.

Yeah, you don't want to jump to any conclusions. Even if you remember yourself doing something bad, that doesn't immediately mean you were a bad person.
