[ You did it, you found his nerdiest charm point. ]
Oh, hey Majima! It's a really great show. There are six seasons so far, not including the spin-offs. (We don't talk about T&T: Miami.) This season focused a lot on one of the DAs, a guy named Clarke. But they usually do multi-episode arcs focusing on either a detective or an attorney who works at this one county in the northeast. They don't cover as many cases as some of the other procedurals, but they focus a lot on the characters which makes it really fun to follow.
Ah, hi Anya! Yeah, Majima calls me Kazzy :-) I'm a little young to be an oyaji... You can just call me Kaz if you want O-: what really? his birthday? We have to get him something for sure! Let's surprise him with a party :-D
Oh, hi Majima! Yes, Tatsuo is helping me around the house and everything. We're working on getting him a new place. We'll find one soon. I'm glad I've been able to help him.
[ reasonably into the afternoon when kiryu might be home there's a knock on the door and guess what its his favorite person ever, majima. he did text first but it was a hey are you home he didn't really wait for the answer to before heading over. considering it wasn't just a string of 10,000 texts that probably means this is fairly serious. ]
[ Haha, well, today is a weird day for Kiryu, considering...... he woke up really swole? Rather than risk showing up at work and sparking weird questions, he's taken the day off while he figures out what he's going to tell his coworkers (maybe some kind of miracle training regimen?) None of his clothes fit like they should... Not like he ever had a fitted suit before, but he's. Well. He's gonna need to shop, and soon.
When he gets Majima's text, he's quick to reply: Yes though the length of his own reply is probably a sign that something weird is up.
It's a good thing Tatsuo's at work/working on getting that new apartment because this would be a really awkward thing to have to explain to him. It's going to be awkward to explain to Majima, too. Nonetheless, Kiryu pulls on one of his bigger shirts (definitely not so big anymore) and answers the door in his jammies. He'd usually be ready for work by now, it's just A Weird Day. ]
[ or at least sit down for a nice family dinner. That homework she'd promised Kaz she would do, it didn't get done, and this close to the end of the school year means that she can't hide how it'll reflect in her grades, so instead of going home and facing her real parents, Mafuyu just heads over to her other parent's place after she finishes playing after school.
Kaz is home, right? Mafuyu pounds on the door with her fist intending to be let in, her other hand holding onto the strap of her backpack. ]
[ Ah, the unannounced Mafuyu visit. A very common staple in the Kiryu household. On any other day, Kiryu would happily let her in and offer her some instant noodles, maybe help her with her studying if he can somehow manage to convince her to do some homework.
Today isn't a usual day, though. Kaz and Majima are... on a date. They were just about to start watching a movie when Mafuyu starts slamming on the door. ]
Ah. I... That's Mafuyu.
[ He can't just turn her away, she helped!! But also the date... Kiryu turns to Majima, eyes pleading. He doesn't want to interrupt their date, but he's also way too nice to leave her out in the cold. (It's not even cold, Kiryu.) ]
She's going to find my spare key if we don't let her in.
[ majima sends kiryu a quick message like more retrospec bullshit and without further explanation just shows up at his house. look, he knows kiryu will be happy to talk about it and it's wendesday so the club is pretty chill and he can get to kiryu's place at a not super late time (so, like, 10.) ]
Hey. Ya're not, like, about to fall asleep or some shit, right?
[ Kiryu gets his text and knows the drill. He was just about to sit down to watch the Tonight Show or whatever equivalent Kiryu very-boringly watches when he gets the text. Even if it weren't Retrospec stuff, he'd always make time for Majima (especially now that they're dating, damn.)
He opens the door and lets Majima in, offering him a glass of water since Majima's not really the kind of guy who makes sure he's drinking 8 glasses a day. ]
No, I usually stay up till around midnight, unless there's nothing on TV.
[ Woah now, bro, you don't have to break in... Though that is awfully suspicious.
You may not want to pick a fight with Kiryu now that he's ripped, but the knocking at least means it's nor a burglar, probably. Kaz, who was minding his own business and watching TV, gets up and goes to the door. ]
Oh... [ Give him a sec. This is. He hasn't forgotten Yato, right? ] Yato, what's up?
