Right, I think so too. I'm not super sure what the lore is for the races in the game, but I guess we can always form our own characters based on the jobs we pick.

What did you name him?

Ryuji Godo, it was one of the names the game gave me. Plus it had "dragon" in it so it felt fitting.
What did you end up with?

[ I mean he may not know Japanese, but he knows the "ryu" in Kiryu means dragon. ]

Do we have to pick a starting class? I kind of want something with cool armor. Maybe a dragoon or a monk?

Yeah, that'd be fun! Or maybe like, a warrior? They're tanks I think. Dragoons have the coolest armor though...

Arcanist, maybe.
You can end up getting magic for healing or attacking and that's pretty rad
