It can be boring sometimes, but I've been getting more clients lately so that's been fun.

Yeah. I used to visit my grandparents when I was a kid, but I grew up here in the States. Are you Japanese, too?

Mmmhmm, I'm still looking to hit it big time since I can't really leave Recolle but... it's good enough money. And I work odd jobs everywhere too.

I'm Japanese, yeah. There's a lot of Japanese folk here.

That must be fun. Are you looking forward to the convention this month?

[ He's more of an amateur, but he did get VIP passes thanks to the ol' treasure hunt. ]

Yeah, it sure seems like it. I wasn't keeping up with them much since my parents didn't teach me much Japanese, but I remembered it again recently so that's made things a lot easier. I can read it and everything.

[ And admire her cool cosplay, no doubt. Kaz is not nearly in her level, but he likes looking at cool things. He is also a supporter of everyone and everything, so if you need a guy in your corner, he's your dude. ]

Yeah, it's been really cool. I wasn't too good at them at school, but getting to speak Japanese with people has opened a lot of doors for me.
