I don't trust breeders because you don't know what kind of illnesses the animals will have, or what other problems they'll come with. At least shelters are honest about the problems before you get the animal.
That's sweet. I used to love animals like that when I was little.
Breeders are always a gamble. Plus when you adopt from a shelter, you're usually saving that pet from getting put down. It's the best option for everyone.

Shakespurr is a cute name, though.

And he strikes me as a cat person.
It was that or Mark Antmewny.

You could also go with Romeow and Mewliet?
no subject
Ew, no thanks, I am not naming any cats after one of the worst romance stories written.

You're not gonna name them Kibbalt and Purrcutio?
no subject
I didn't even think about those two as possible name choices!
no subject
But I guess I'm pretty good at this.
Do you have any pictures of your Shakespurr?

Ever seen Homeward Bound?
Of course I do!
[A picture will be sent right after the last message, and... Here she is!]

Aah! She's so cute! I love it.
no subject
Isn't she? I got her at the animal shelter.
no subject
That's good. Rescuing cats is a lot better than getting them from a breeder.
[ It's like a kitty orphanage... ]

She wasn't in there too long. I got lucky since she was put out that day for adoption, and she wouldn't leave me alone.

[ Whoever... your bro happens to be. ]
Oh, good. It must have been meant to be, then. :-)

She's a good cat, and I don't have to worry about her going outside since she likes the inside better.
no subject
That's good. You should keep her inside, it's dangerous for cats to go outside, especially unsupervised.
no subject
What if I leash trained her?
no subject
That'd be a good idea, actually. I know people don't usually leash-train cats but they'd be a lot better off if they did...

Hopefully.
no subject
Probably.

I love getting pictures of cats.
[ he's a man of simple needs. ]

I will!
Or just send pictures of her in general.
[Like when she does cute things.]

[ pls... cats... ]
