Interesting. I wonder what world it came from. Because did you know that apparently there were monsters wandering about that I would've recognized from my own memories?

I don't think my world had monsters, though.
I got pretty lucky, all things considered.

Lucky in what way? Your survivability against the monsters, or that your world was devoid of them?

Considering I don't have monsters back in my world, I'm lucky my powers even worked on one.
I guess I'm lucky I have powers at all.

Though I should point out... you don't have monsters that you /remember/.

I guess that's true. I don't know for sure.

[ There could be zombies, there was totally a spin-off with zombies. ]

But everything else I've remembered has been pretty normal.
Except for all the crime.

There was good stuff and bad stuff.
I know the old me really wanted to join up, and I can kind of understand where it came from.
I can't just reject everything, it was still me.

I know it's wrong, but a part of me feels like I could go back.

A legitimate fear to have. Wondering how strong the influence of your other life might affect this one.

If it's any consolation, we both feel similarly.

Right.
I can't pretend to ignore all of it.
Our shared memories are part of why Majima and I get along so well.
And I used to not like fighting, but it's become something I really enjoy.
I just hope I don't start getting bad habits from who I used to be.
