I could. Hefting it around would be a chore; I imagine it'd be quite heavy.

No. I didn't. I was speaking hypothetically. I /did/ receive a sword, however.

What kind of sword was it? Like a katana or something?

No, it's not a katana. I suppose it falls into something... much like a longsword archetype? I have a picture.

It looks really... fancy? Can you actually cut anything with it?

I haven't tried vegetables just yet, but it does work very well on monsters and the like. Its edges are very sharp.

I can store it away /with/ my magic, does that count?

My magic. It makes things disappear and reappear as I see fit.

Well, I suppose there are a few restrictions. But generally speaking, I consider it extra storage space.

Do they have to be a certain size, or can you put a spear away like that too?

Is it? I suppose so. The strange logic of having unending pockets, that sort of thing?

To be honest, I haven't tried anything larger than this sword. I think it would make sense to test this, wouldn't it?

Yeah, like walking around with ten different swords but they never seem to fit anywhere.

You should give it a try. I mean you probably can't store a car.

Uh, not me, sorry.
I already had to get mine fixed after the monster attack the convention.
I don't think my insurance would cover damages for magic.

I'm sorry to hear that. Did it at least cover the monster attack?

Yeah. I got my windshield replaced and it didn't cost me anything.
Monster insurance was a thing for a while.
Maybe if magic starts appearing in the city, they'll make insurance for that too.

Perhaps so. Time will only tell just how much more this city will change over time.

What about yourself? Has Retrospec granted you any special items or abilities?

We seem to be pretty good at adapting, at least.

I haven't gotten any items, but I got super strength last month.
That's been pretty cool.

How did you find out you had it?

I got punched by a giant plant monster and was able to hold my ground.
It was pretty rad.

I shot at it.
So it was kind of self-defense.
