[ he ends up getting at least a little bit of sleep - enough that he's surprised to find himself at kiryu's house instead of at home when he wakes up a few hours later. he crawls out of bed (and kiryu's warm arms) to go start some coffee for him, at least if he's going to be here he can be helpful to kiryu getting ready for work. ]

[ Majima that's so sweet :') Kiryu wakes up to the sound of his alarm, his head a bit groggy from the night before. He remembers inviting Majima over and cuddling him, so waking up alone is a bit of a surprise. Maybe he dreamed that part?

Except there's coffee brewing somewhere in his apartment, and as far as he can tell that doesn't happen by itself. Kiryu makes his way to the kitchen and smiles. Majima's still wearing his PJs.... it's sweet, okay. Especially with the way his tattoos poke out from his sleeves. ]

Morning. Did you get any sleep?

[ it is sweet. and incredible domestic, that's for sure. ]

Little bit.

[ it's not... a lie..... ]

Did you?

[ All they have to do is fight or have a drink and they'll hit peak Yakuza aesthetic. ]

That's good. [ He smiles a bit. A couple hours is still better than nothing. ] I slept fine.

[ Better, with Majima there. But he just steps over and sidles up beside Majima instead of saying anything that sappy so early. ]

I'm glad ta hear it. Figured I could help ya get ready for work, since I'm here.

[ see? he can be helpful ]

Do ya want some breakfast or somethin'?

[ Waking up to coffee... man, Kiryu could get used to this. ]

I usually just eat a bowl of cereal and some toast. I can grab it though, you don't have to.

[ Majima's still a guest, after all! ]

Nah, I'll make it. Toast is always better when someone else makes it for ya.

[ Just come over always, Majima. Kiryu would not complain. ]

Okay, thanks then.

[ Kiryu won't stop smiling. He grabs a box of cereal from his cabinet and pulls out a carton of milk from the fridge, setting them both on his table. ]

Do you like Special K? I might have some Froot Loops, too.

[ Yes, of course Kiryu is boring and eats Special K. With strawberries. ]

Froot Loops sounds good.

[ he's a child at heart. while kiryu takes care of the cereal, majima gets bread and puts it in the toaster. ]

[ Kiryu nods and pulls out a box of Froot Loops to go with his boring box of Special K. He serves them each a bowl and pours a bit of milk in either one of them. Not like he can know how much milk Majima likes in his cereal. ]

Are you feeling any better from yesterday?

[ Kiryu doesn't know or ask why Majima texted him, but he can figure something is up well enough. ]

Ah...

[ it's only fair for kiryu to ask him, after he kept him up in the middle of the night. he doesn't like lying to kiryu, but he doesn't really want to worry him more than he has to. ]

Yeah. Got some sleep and everything.

That's good.

[ He really won't press. That's Majima's business, and Kiryu knows... their life wasn't a pleasant one. They don't have to share everything immediately. ]

You're welcome here whenever you want. Maybe it'll help you sleep.

[ Kiryu nods. It's not hard to be open like this with Majima. They have a bond that goes deeper than just the fact that they've been dating for a little over a month. ]

You can make yourself at home. I'll get you a spare key.

[ Considering Majima has like no furniture at his home, he knows that's not saying much. ]

[ majima stops what he's doing and turns to him ]

Are ya sure?

[ i mean, objectively, he knows theyve been close but ... ]

[ Kiryu nods. He'll sleep better knowing Majima's trying to get some real sleep. His apartment's a little depressing tbh. ]

I know our schedules are really different, so if you ever need to stop by and I'm not here, I want you to be able to.

Ah...

[ this is really sweet. he's quite tired and a little overwhelmed. ]

I'll try not ta wake ya up at night.

[ Kaz smiles a little. Leave it to Majima to worry about stuff like that. ]

It's okay if you do. I want you to feel at home.

That's sweet of you. I wish there was something I could give ya in return.

You don't have to worry about that.

[ Kiryu waves him off like it's no big deal. Like he isn't basically giving Majima the chance to elope with him if he wants to... ]

You're important to me. I wanna do what I can.

[ To help, he means. ]

That's really a lot on its own.

[ Kiryu shakes his head. It's just common decency between boyfriends, right? ]

Being there for you is enough for me.

[ majima has sadly not had a lot of common decency, sorry to say. ]

I'm glad ya think so.

[ Majima... it's ok, Kiryu will treat you with the decency you deserve. Hopefully. ]

Besides, if you spend more time here I can have you taste-test more of my cooking.

[ He still owes him a home-cooked meal... ]
