[ maybe he should give Majima an extra key one of these days? would that be too soon... ]

[ majima shows up fifteen minutes later - there's not much traffic at this hour and presumably gets let in easily since kiryu is just waiting for him. it's sweet. he should've let kiryu just sleep and not texted him, though.

the fact he hasn't been sleeping, though, it's pretty obvious. this is day four of not sleeping the whole night. he's been doing his best to keep it together for work but that's been getting harder, too. ]

[ Kiryu lets Majima in and takes his hands, tugging him toward the couch. Majima looks... like he hasn't slept in four days, yeah. ]

You look awful.

[ Sorry, this is sleepy!Kiryu, he would have maybe not said anything otherwise. He's worried though. He reaches up and strokes Majima's cheek. It's a little slow but the concern is there. ]

Has something been keeping you up?

[ majima's a little surprised by the gesture - maybe he should stop being surprised that kiryu wants to touch him, but it's always nice and always surprising. especially gentle touches like that. ]

Might be better if we don't talk about it.

[judgementkazzy]

[ Kiryu nods. Majima will bring it up on his own time, he won't force it out of him. He slides his hand back, resting his palm on Majima's neck. ]

You can sleep with me, maybe that'll help.

[ He, uh, does mean sleep though. Majima looks kinda too burnt out for anything else. (And truthfully, Kiryu would rather not stay up till dawn.) ]

Maybe...

[ he doesn't want to bring it up because he knows how these things go with the two of them. they always end up triggering things in one another, and the last thing he wants is to make kiryu remember something similar to this shit. ]

Kinda considerin' never sleepin' again.

[ Majima no...................... no. ]

That's not much of a plan.

[ Kiryu goes ahead and pulls Majima into a hug. Obviously whatever's wrong is pretty bad if Majima can't sleep over it. The likeliest thing would have to be the memory of losing his eye... ]

We can just lay in bed if you want.

[ majima....yes?

majima hugs him back after a moment, burying his face against kiryu's shoulder and breathing in deeply. ]

Guess that'd be okay.

Okay.

[ See, there's a time and a place for talking, Kiryu knows that. He isn't gonna pull away from the hug unless Majima does first, though. ]

[ it's a nice hug and majima stays close to him for a little bit, but then he slides off the couch and takes kiryu's hand to lead him back to bed. ]

Come on.

[ Kiryu nods, following Majima to his bedroom. They're totally gonna cuddle. ]

I've got some sweats if you wanna change out of those.

[ And maybe not sleep in your work clothes, unless you leave those at work... ]

[ oh... he hadn't noticed, honestly ]

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. Dunno if I'll fit in your clothes.

They're drawstring. You'll be ok.

[ Sadly, Kiryu got rid of most of his "skinnier" clothes last month after he had no choice but to up-size due to the addition of around 100 pounds of muscle.

Kiryu, of course, is a fan of sleeping shirtless but if Majima wants to swim in one of his t-shirts that's cool too. Regardless, he rummages around for some sweatpants and a tank top and hands them to Majima with a bit of a smile. Is he just trying to get Majima to wear his clothes? ]

Here. You'll be comfy.

Alright.

[ majima nods and strips out of his clothes, setting them in a neat pile. he puts on the pants and then the tank top, which is a little big, but the motions are kind of mechanical anyway. one foot in front of the other. kiryu's right that these are probably steps to feeling better. he pulls his hair out of its tie, letting it fall around his shoulders. okay. he's ready for bed. ]

You're right, it fits okay.
